Are you a 4-H Club and want to participate in the Whidbey Island Coop Tour
for a community service project?
Not a 4-H member, but want to be
a Coop Tour volunteer?
We need volunteers for the 2018 Coop Tour! If you or your child would like to try out 4-H, enjoy a fun filled day, talk chickens, and meet people in your community, consider volunteering this year with all the fun the Whidbey Island Coop Tour Offers. Here's what we need help with on the day of the Tour: greet guests, direct parking, help with bio security, sell raffle tickets, talk chickens, thank guests for coming, and help with “chicken olympics”. Children & adults ages 5-105 welcome to volunteer.
In 4-H, kids and adults spend time together, learning new skills, developing hidden talents, making new friends and having fun. The goal of 4-H is to help kids develop as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens in their communities. Adult volunteers who spend time with 4-H kids are key in the process. They form the foundation on which productive citizens are made. 4-H is a “learn-by-doing” program for kids and adults. Please contact Julia Sewell here if you are interested in volunteering for the 2018 Coop Tour.
